23_PKudei: (1of 2) Master Copy
ZARABEN.ORG Studios, presents Torah teaching “PKudei” RC JedidiYah explains the Hebrew root “paqad” which means to visit, attend to, muster, count. JedidiYah explains and correlates it to the tabernacle inventory as a layered Torah message about who is truly “numbered.” He emphasizes that what is counted is everything made exactly according to YHVH’s instructions—from veils and coverings to utensils—and that the Torah should not be read superficially. Linking the timing of this final teaching in Exodus to the New Year (Rosh Hashanah/Rosh Chodesh) and the cycle leading into Passover. JedidiYah warns against treating Shabbat and the appointed times as ordinary, citing a scriptural warning of death for making Shabbat common. The Torah reveals that “paqad” includes being visited with either friendly or hostile intent, framing YHVH as terrifying. and an “all-consuming fire.” The Torah reveals that those YHVH loves are tested, broken, emptied, and purified—sometimes involving loss of relationships, possessions, and even family—in order to submit and be rebuilt. JedidiYah warns repetition without attention can lead to alteration and perversion, urging constant resetting to the “Master’s copy(Torah).”
