24_Vayikra (5 of 5): Fat Choices
ZARABEN.ORG presents Torah teaching number 24 “Vayikra,” RC JedidiYah explains that those called by YHVH’s Name, which is the Torah, must approach Him with voluntary desire, joy, and a complete offering of the self, not empty-handed. He discusses the various offerings (fine flour with salt, first-fruits and others) and the idea that making peace requires completeness, including removing “the fat” as an inward circumcision of the heart—giving up coverings, excuses, and desires. JedidiYah emphasizes that sin—intentional or unintentional—requires acknowledging guilt, confessing, and making restitution rather than repeatedly saying “sorry” without change. YHVH always provides a way back but the demand is costly because it requires permanent change, which is full submission to His will.
