08_VayiShalach: (p1 of 4) Charged Twice

In this episode from ZARABEN.ORG Studios, RC JedidiYah discusses 'Vayi Shalach,' the concept of being sent. RC JedidiYah explains the journey of Yaakov (Jacob) from leaving his father's house, undergoing a transformative 20-year process in a foreign land, and returning as a changed man. The teaching extends to the broader theme of leaving behind one's past institutions and identities to truly understand and become a citizen of the Most High. He draws parallels between Yaakov’s journey and the personal journey of finding oneself by leaving behind familiar places and concepts. JedidiYah emphasizes the importance of sacrifice, submission, and understanding foundational Torah principles, such as the first fruits (tithing). RC JedidiYah points out that the Torah teaches that overcoming struggles and achieving submission to YHVH’s Will is what brings peace. The episode concludes with a prayer and a blessing for the listeners.
